The Retail Hack Lisbon IT

Lisbon, Portugal – October 2025 – Growin proudly concluded its participation as an official sponsor of The Retail Hack 2025, standing alongside global partners such as Google and Microsoft in supporting this major innovation event organized by MC Digital.

Held on October 16–17 in Vila Nova de Gaia, the 5th edition of The Retail Hack brought together professionals, students, startups, and strategic partners for 24 hours of collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. Participants competed across two tracks — a Tech Track focused on building functional prototypes, and a Business Track dedicated to developing high-potential business concepts — with €9,000 in prizes awarded to the most promising ideas. Sustainability, customer experience, logistics, and operations were among the key challenges tackled throughout the hackathon.

At Growin, we believe innovation happens when people come together to share ideas and build the future collaboratively,” said Filipe Silva, Executive Director at Growin. “Supporting The Retail Hack 2025 is our way of helping to spark the creativity and technology that will shape the next generation of retail.”

During the event, our Executive Director, Filipe Nogueira da Silva, also joined the 3rd episode of the podcast Caixa Central, hosted by Rafael Pires. Alongside Paulo Felix Jr. (FCamara), he discussed one of today’s biggest challenges in the business world: breaking through innovation barriers.
